Fresh Slices of Old Florida

Many people don't know what old Florida was like so I want to show you all that's historic, beautiful, retro, kitschy and untamed. Much of it has changed now, but you can still be a part of the adventure if you look in the right places. I love writing about Florida and submissions are always welcomed.

Enjoy your stay in the F.L.A.

Hi Doc - Bring your cuttin’ torch and cane on down there’s a lot of stuff to cut down here. Ain’t been fishing yet ‘My Pole’s to Limber’ Gonna stay for a few days, brought a load down & got several loads out. But ain’t in no hurry. Sure is nice down here. May just forgot to come back. But finish may trade anyway. - Bill Goring
