Many people don't know what old Florida was like so I want to show you all that's historic, beautiful, retro, kitschy and untamed. Much of it has changed now, but you can still be a part of the adventure if you look in the right places. I love writing about Florida and submissions are always welcomed.

My husband watched a show about snakes last night and had a dream they were attacking him. At the same time I was dreaming about Honey Boo Boo turning into a demon and crawling under my blanket. This caused a spontaneous double kicking fight at three in the morning and I got no rest at all. Now my eyeballs are on fire and everyone at work sounds ten times louder than usual. Yay.
