Fresh Slices of Old Florida

Many people don't know what old Florida was like so I want to show you all that's historic, beautiful, retro, kitschy and untamed. Much of it has changed now, but you can still be a part of the adventure if you look in the right places. I love writing about Florida and submissions are always welcomed.

Enjoy your stay in the F.L.A.

Race you down a sand mountain, 1951.
This blog is closing for a week because of my vacation. I’ll be in the woods hiking with beer drinking Germans and Internet service is scarce. Does anyone know if they make sunblock 100000 or should I call NASA? The temperature will be cooler in South Florida compared to the mountains, so it’s out of the frying pan and into the fire.
Tumblr love to all old Florida followers and wishing you a SAFE and HAPPY 4th of July. See you in ten days :)
