She was responsible for keeping alive the memory of her ex-husband Jaco Pastorius, one of the greatest bass players in the world. Ingrid passed away suddenly yesterday and will be missed by many in the South Florida jazz & blues community.

The Everglades Caucus →
Finally a bi-partisan caucus is being formed to help protect the Florida Everglades. A formal announcement will be made today at 1 p.m. in Boynton Beach and so far the caucus is being supported by local environmental groups.
Let’s hope this is going to be a positive development for Everglades preservation in our state government.
